Baja Peninsula Run Trip Report, Day Five

Day fives would take us from the Pacific Ocean back to the Sea of Cortez. We would spend the night in the sleepy village of Mulege. Pangas heading out to catch fish for the day. Chris fixing a flat. Baja Peninsula Run Trip Report, Day Four

Day fours itinerary would have us head out to Laguna Ignacio for a couple of hours of whale watching. Then onto Scorpion Bay to camp at the legendary surf break. This section of road that is permanently washed and one bad decision left tour new friend Juan stuck in the mud. He was more than grateful for a tow out by Mike. We ended up meeting up with him again on the whale boat. Our whale watching panga and guide. Getting covered in whale exhalation was a strange highlight for the day. Baja Peninsula Run Trip Report, Day Two

For day two we awoke to a beautiful Gonzaga Bay sunrise. The staff at Alfonsinas had made fresh hot coffee waiting for us as we soaked up the view. The plan for the day was to drive to Punta SanFran on the 2012 Baja 1000 race course. The route would take us past Coco's Corner and into the Calamujue wash. After the wash we would head into L.A. Bay for lunch and onto Punta SanFran to camp. The terrain after Coco's started to get really interesting. We had crossed into the infamous Cardon forrest that Baja is famous for. Baja Peninsula Run Trip Report, Day One

Wow, so many stories to report from an adventure like this. It's a little daunting trying to remember every experience. So we're going to break the trip into each day. We hope you enjoy "riding" along with us through a pretty crazy journey.   Here's a little bit of the basics of the adventure. Como Chingas 2013 Rubicon Trip Report

I was lucky enough to be invited to join the Como Chingas 2013 Rubicon trip. Two days camping on the the Rubicon trail is what I call a vacation!
